We are currently hiring for the following roles:
Associate Director of Policy & Strategy
In this role, you will lead efforts to shape and execute strategic initiatives that unite stakeholders across government, industry, and academia, driving transformative change in Israel and strategic regions worldwide. This is your chance to lead systemic change on a global scale.
Science & Technology Manager – Meat Alternatives
Working alongside the VP Science and Technology and GFI Israel’s scientific experts, you will engage with scientists, universities, startups, corporations, research funding organizations, and policymakers in Israel to catalyze the alternative proteins ecosystem.
Associate Director of Operations
Working alongside the VP Sustainability & Operations and GFI Israel Leadership Team, you will facilitate effective planning, implement streamlined systems, and establish processes that foster cross-functional collaboration and learning across the team, ensuring maximum mission impact. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensure the effectiveness of our growing team through organizational development, and ensure the administrative, financial, and operational functions of the organization are well-defined and executed.

Our hiring process
We work collaboratively to evaluate candidates and hire the best team members. Please note that this process might be adapted for certain roles.
First round: online application and screening questions
You will submit an initial application via a short online form.
Second round: timed project
The timed project consists of several questions that simulate the work you would be doing in the role. You will be asked to complete these tasks to the best of your ability within a particular timeframe.
Third round: virtual interview
The virtual interview will include a deeper dive into your professional background and is usually 40–50 minutes. Interview panels will vary for each role but would typically include a member of our Executive team and the direct manager for the role.
Fourth round: in-person interview
The final round is a face-to-face interview with our CEO, usually conducted at our offices in Tel Aviv. Interview panels will vary for each role but would typically include our CEO and the direct manager for the role.
Final step: references
We will request professional references, one of which should be a current or former supervisor. During this round, we also invite you to contact members of the GFI Israel team to ask questions.
