Anton Slavkin

SciTech Manager – Academic-Industry Relations

Anton is the Academia-Industry Relations scitech manager at GFI Israel, working on the acceleration of collaborations between researchers in academia and industry stakeholders in the alternative protein field.

Areas of expertise: Engagement with food industry stakeholders, food engineering aspects of industrial development and scale up of products (including processing techniques), plant-based proteins, and nutrition.

Anton has vast experience as a food engineer from the Israeli food industry, mainly in R&D, having worked at Unilever, Strauss Group, and Nestlé.

Anton holds BSc and MEng degrees, both from the faculty of Biotechnology & Food Engineering at The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
