Keren Futeran

Operations Manager

Keren oversees key operational functions at GFI Israel, including project coordination and organizational optimization, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Areas of expertise: International development, large-scale project management, social-impact operations, partnership development, and sustainable infrastructure.

With a background in international development and operations management within social-impact initiatives, Keren brings experience leading large-scale, mission-driven projects across Africa and Israel.

Before joining GFI, she served as Director of Innovation: Africa Uganda, overseeing more than 300 clean-energy and water infrastructure projects reaching over one million people, and previously as Deputy Director for Innovation: Africa Uganda and Malawi. Keren has also led partnership development, program design and content development for organizations including Latet – Israeli Humanitarian Aid and the President’s Initiative for a Shared Jewish Future.

She holds an MBA in a specialized track for Social Leadership from the Mandel Institute at Ben-Gurion University and a BA in Politics, Government, and African Studies from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
