
Ari Ben Dror
Vice President of Sustainability & Operations
Ari is GFI Israel’s VP of Sustainability and Operations, responsible for overseeing finance and people operations, and developing and maintaining strategic plans, communications, and sustainability-related programmatic work.
Areas of expertise: Operations, strategic planning, finance, legal, climate policy.
Before joining GFI, Ari served as legal counsel in the Israeli Ministry of Finance, where he led the legislation drafting and governmental policy integration of several large-scale reforms, including the mega-project “Tel-Aviv Metropolitan Area Metro” estimated at over $45 billion. Previously, Ari also served as law clerk in the Supreme Court of Israel, as editor-in-chief of Israel’s leading Law Review (“Mishpatim”), and as a researcher in the Department of Policy Planning and Strategy at the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
Ari voluntarily serves on the board of directors of Life & Environment, an umbrella organization for the Israeli environmental ecosystem.
Ari holds a law degree (LLB) and an MBA majoring in strategy and innovation from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
