Ariel leads scientific and technological initiatives in meat alternatives, leveraging his expertise in tissue engineering, cell culture, and product development to advance the alternative protein industry.
Areas of expertise: Cell culture and tissue engineering solutions, meat-alternative product development and scale-up, and analytical tools for alternative proteins.
Ariel has led innovative projects in tissue engineering in academia and plant-based meat alternatives for the industry. He co-founded Oshi, the first company to sell whole-cut, plant-based salmon fillets worldwide. His experience spans cell culture and tissue production, food innovation, product development, and scaling up alternative protein production.
Ariel holds a Biomedical Engineering degree from Universidad de Entre Ríos, Argentina, and a PhD in Tissue Engineering from the Technion.
