Ilan leads GFI Israel’s philanthropy and fundraising efforts, cultivating strategic partnerships and donor relationships to accelerate the growth of Israel’s alternative protein ecosystem.

Areas of expertise: Strategic partnerships, philanthropy strategy, global nonprofits, social startups & innovation, adaptive leadership.

Ilan leads GFI Israel’s philanthropic partnerships and fundraising strategy, building relationships with foundations, donors, and strategic partners to strengthen GFI’s impact and advance Israel’s alternative protein ecosystem. 

Over the past decade, he has held senior philanthropy and partnership roles within global mission-driven organizations, helping build support for ambitious solutions to complex societal challenges. Before joining GFI Israel, Ilan served on the executive management team at JDC-Tevet, leading strategic partnerships and resource development for national employment and economic development initiatives. 

He holds an MA in Immigration & Social Integration from Ruppin Academic Center, a BA in English Literature and Language from the University of Manchester, and a Degree in Adult Education.
