Operations Manager

May oversees key operational functions at GFI Israel, including project coordination and organizational optimization, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Areas of expertise: Project management, business development, operational optimization, industry-academia collaboration, and food sustainability.

May previously served as Projects & Business Development Manager at YDLabs Fermentation CDMO, managing complex projects from inception to completion and ensuring client milestones were met. She also co-founded FoodTech Nation BGU, fostering industry-academia collaboration in the alternative protein sector and launching a food-sharing platform that rescued over 100 tons of food.

May holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where she researched the biodegradability of various polymers.
